Defining Your Own Recovery
What does it mean to define recovery for ourselves without losing the wisdom of guidance, accountability, and community? Drawing on nearly four decades in recovery, Alan Henley explores the tension between Twelve-Step structure and self-directed recovery — asking how we trust ourselves without becoming isolated from those who help us see what we cannot see alone.
Join on Zoom ↗Steps Workshop
What happens when the Twelve Steps are treated not as doctrine, but as a living practice? Drawing from the newly published Twelve Steps for Psychedelics in Recovery, Douglas explores the architecture beneath the Steps: honesty, surrender, self-examination, repair, connection, and daily practice — and how recovery moves from something we understand into something we live.
Join on Zoom ↗Indigenous Perspectives on Recovery & Community
Join Taita Daniel for an interactive, moderated conversation exploring cultural, historical, and ancestral healing through a decolonial and Indigenous lens. They will share perspectives on substance dependency and recovery, centering the relationship between oneself and the substance as core to healing. Guided dialogue and group discussion will invite shared reflection and deeper understanding.
Join on Zoom ↗Being the Bridge: Traditional 12 Step & Psychedelics
Explore how traditional 12-step recovery and psychedelic-assisted recovery can build new, unexpected bridges. Integrating the two can be challenging, and honesty about a PIR journey in traditional groups can invite criticism or ostracism. Panel members share personal stories and the bridges they’ve built to support their recovery pathways, followed by audience Q&A.
Join on Zoom ↗Intentional Psychedelic Pathways to Recovery
Description TBA.
Join on Zoom ↗PATA Film: Journeys
In collaboration with the Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Association. This documentary follows 21 interviews with patients, veterans, abuse survivors, facilitators, and scientists on microdose and full-dose psilocybin therapy for trauma, depression, and end-of-life fear — tracing the science, the history of prohibition, and the push for accessible healing.

The Shadow Side of Psychedelics
What happens when a psychedelic experience becomes difficult, destabilizing, or causes harm? Through Jungian psychology, lived experience, peer support, Indigenous perspectives, and clinical harm reduction, this panel explores the shadow side of psychedelics, and the role of humility, integration, and community in supporting the whole experience.
Join on Zoom ↗Neurodiversity & Intersecting Identities
Explore how psychedelic-assisted and personal-use approaches may intersect with recovery from substance use and behavioral addictions, centering neurodivergent people and members of marginalized communities. The panel emphasizes autonomy, access, cultural humility, harm reduction, and ongoing recovery support.
Join on Zoom ↗The Integration Gap
What happens when a psychedelic experience ends and everyday life resumes? Drawing on clinical trial peer support, veterans’ experiences, and personal recovery, this panel explores gaps in ongoing care and the role of preparation, integration, and community. Personal stories open a conversation about finding support and sustaining connection.
Join on Zoom ↗Grief, Death & Dying in Recovery
How do we meet grief, death, and dying within the recovery community? This moderated discussion explores the possibilities and limitations of psychedelic support, alongside relationship, ritual, and community care. Through shared experience and dialogue, we’ll make room for what’s difficult to name, and consider how to accompany ourselves and others without rushing toward resolution.
Join on Zoom ↗Closing Ceremony
Our Convention Committee members will sum up our experiences from the last few days and bring our inaugural convention to a close. We will offer onsite attendees the opportunity to take home a piece of the collaborative artwork we have created.
